In the previous sections you have seen the basic search features available in OED Online.

In this section some of the advanced search features are introduced. These enable much more powerful searching of the Dictionary's text.

The Advanced Search page is brought up by clicking on ADVANCED SEARCH at the bottom of the screen.

This page offers all the searching facilities of the FIND WORD box and SIMPLE SEARCH form, but with added options and greater flexibility.
