Interesting antedatings

Revision of the entries in the March OED Online update has revealed an earlier origin than previously thought for many words, including:

• middle-aged (antedated to 1536 from 1608)
• migrate (1623 from 1697)
• migration (c 1527 from 1611)
• mile-a-minute (1883 from 1957)
• millimetre (1797 from 1807)
• milliner (1449 from 1529)
• mind-bending (1952 from 1965)
