    A stupid or annoying person; an idiot.

1988 SuperBike Oct. 60/1 The only complaint I received was from some wazzock sticking up for the pathetic Citroen 2CV engine which ‘powered’ the thing. 1994 Guardian 18 June (Weekend Suppl.) 22/4 She makes the tea and hangs around in the background, on hand lest Winterston get into trouble or find herself shouting at a ‘wazzock’. 2001 Daily Star (Nexis) 23 Oct. 28 It makes for a fun-packed couple of hours{em}peppered with clips, plus famous people making slight wassocks of themselves.
